Wish you were here!

We had such a great time at Enrichment on Thursday. Thirty four sisters came and spent two hours learning and doing and eating and visiting and having a Bloomin' good time!

We met in the Relief Society room for a quick opening exercises. We sang a song had a prayer and had a spiritual thought on Doctrine and Covenants 117:7
"Therefore, will I not make solitary places to bud and to blossom, and to bring forth in abundance? saith the Lord."

Sisters Dani Dooley, Pam Lawrenson, Deb Bennett and Heather McEwan heading into the cultural hall.

Sisters Gay Aalona and Kathy Warczak enjoy friends and the yummy treats.

Sister Ilene Johnson taught a mini class on Summertime First Aid. Sisters Carissa Poyfair and Celeste Pearson learn about sunburns, bug bites and more.

Sisters Andrea Mathison, Sheila Illig and Tessa Ross make a 5-minute craft. Ghirardelli Chocolate wraps perfect for a visiting teaching gift!

Sister Sue Johnson (second from left)was in charge of the evenings food. She made veggie pizzas, chips and dips, fruit and veggie platters, brownie bites, lemon bites and a deliciously refreshing punch with the help of several sisters including her mother-in-law Sister Jerry Johnson (far right). Sue's daughter, Dana (next to Sue) helped out in the nursery. Sister Lynda Hjelm (far left) led a delicious Summertime smoothies class.

Brother Bill Lawrenson held a mini class on Puget Sound Staycations. He had lots of great ideas. Who knew we had so much so close?!

  1. Enrichment was a TON of fun. I really loved how the classes were short and we got to move to each one of our choosing. They were informative and fun to be in. It was a nice group of teachers too. It is nice to use a broad assortment of the sisters as teachers. I can't wait to go to the next Enrichment Meeting. Come on September!!!
